爱是因为它确实给了我一个学历的光环，
这个学历还算好用
至于恨则是来自于在交大四年遇到的点点滴滴
I wasn’t surprised at all when Jiaotong put that sentence out.
因为它一直就是那样
During my junior year, I wanted to apply for a research project outside my regular coursework.
I put on a little makeup to meet the professor — nothing inappropriate at all.
He looked me up and down and said:
Academic research is tough. You won’t have time to dress up nicely.
I replied right then: Getting into Jiaotong was tough too.
A girl who once stood center-stage at a top university will always be the center of her own life.
Thankfully, I never truly loved you or felt proud of you from the bottom of my heart.
So I haven’t felt all that disappointed either.
When people who fought so hard to get in and graduate successfully
still end up criticizing you —
it means you really do have a lot to improve.
