杨达，陕西宝鸡凤翔人，曾为陕西省七，八届省政协委员，宝鸡市县政协委员，现任香港美术家协会副主席，中央艺术名家书画院副院长，客座教授，中国民主建国会会员，全国书画艺术委员会常务理事，中央电视台CCTV《中国艺术名家》栏目特聘艺术顾问，授予中央电视台中国当代艺术名家书画工作室，中国美术家协会陕西分会会员，国家文化部翰墨艺术研究会研究员，国家文化高级书法师，中国东方文化研究会书法研究员，国礼艺术家特邀顾问，获国宝级艺术大师殊荣，1985年创作的人物铜雕《水浒一百单捌将》曾轰动中国文坛，并应邀出访东南亚等国举办个人作品巡回展，1995年荣获联合国教科文组织和中国文艺家协会授予的中国工艺美术家殊荣。1997年杨达先生22件艺术创作作品荣登中国邮票珍藏版并在全国发行，书画作品被延安革命博物馆、黄帝陵博物馆、台湾书画艺术馆及国内外许多省市展馆与个人收藏。先后为我国西北地区及城市公园设计制作大型铜雕一百多尊，有上千件青铜艺术品被国内外博物馆及文化友人收藏。2022年5月荣获中华百年英才殊荣，5副作品入选中国高等院校美术课范本，入选当代艺术名家档案。作品入选中国美术百科。为中国铜雕艺术非遗传承人，2023年荣获中国新时代非遗文化传播大师称号。并特聘为世界非物质文化研究院院士，常委副院长等职，2024年获中国教育电视台春晚《龙腾盛世，艺术人生》最佳创作奖。
杨达先生不是一个张扬的书写者，尽管他的字里有性情的张力。他是一个取法的标拔者，创作的坚守者，生活的执行者。更多的时候，他是沉默和独守的，他的支点只和书写相关。这些与书写者相关的因素，展现在他的字里，就是朴实、沉静、宽博、高古。
Yang Da, born in Fengxiang, Baoji, Shaanxi Province, was a member of the 7th and 8th Provincial Political Consultative Conference, as well as a member of the Baoji City and County Political Consultative Conference. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Artists Association, Vice President and Visiting Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Calligraphy and Painting, a member of the China Democratic Founding Association, Executive Director of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, and a specially appointed art consultant for the CCTV "Chinese Art Masters" program. He has been awarded the China Contemporary Art Masters Calligraphy and Painting Studio by CCTV, a member of the Shaanxi Branch of the China Artists Association, a researcher at the Chinese Ministry of Culture Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, a national cultural high-level calligrapher, a calligraphy researcher at the China Oriental Culture Research Association, and a specially invited consultant for national ritual artists. He has been honored as a national treasure level art master The bronze sculpture "One Hundred Dans and Eight Generals of the Water Margin" created in 1985 caused a sensation in the Chinese literary world, and was invited to visit Southeast Asia and other countries to hold a solo exhibition of his works. In 1995, he was awarded the honor of Chinese Arts and Crafts Artist by UNESCO and the Chinese Artists Association. In 1997, Mr. Yang Da's 22 artistic creations were listed in the China Stamp Collection and distributed nationwide. His calligraphy and painting works were collected by the Yan'an Revolutionary Museum, the Huangdi Mausoleum Museum, the Taiwan Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum, as well as many provincial and municipal exhibitions and personal collections at home and abroad. We have designed and produced over 100 large-scale bronze sculptures for the northwest region and urban parks in China, and have collected thousands of bronze artworks by museums and cultural friends both domestically and internationally. In May 2022, he was honored as a century old talent in China, and 5 works were selected as model art courses in Chinese higher education institutions and included in the archives of contemporary art masters. The work was selected for the Chinese Art Encyclopedia. As the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Chinese bronze carving art, he was awarded the title of Master of Cultural Communication of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the New Era of China in 2023. And specially appointed as an academician of the World Intangible Culture Research Institute, member of the Standing Committee and Vice Dean, etc. In 2024, he won the Best Creation Award in the Spring Festival Gala of China Education Television's "Dragon Soaring in Prosperity, Art Life".
Mr. Yang Da is not a flamboyant writer, despite the tension of his character in his writing. He is a benchmark for learning, a defender of creation, and an executor of life. More often than not, he is silent and solitary, and his fulcrum is only related to writing. These factors related to the writer are displayed in his words, which are simple, calm, broad, and ancient.
